Spring is Here!
Children recommended for the math support program are seen 2-3 times per cycle for approximately 35 minutes. During our small class periods, we work on the current math curriculum being presented in the classroom. Students will receive additional instruction and have the opportunity to practice skills in a small group with close supervision at this time. A portion of this class time is also designated to working on specific skills in which the children are weak or deficient.
Students are always encouraged to bring questions.
Who is Eligible?
A variety of criteria are used to determine who is eligible for the math support program including teacher and administrator recommendation, New York State math test results, and diagnostic math assessments.
