Mr. Brian Jensen, Assistant Principal

I was born and raised in New York City, and I am the proud product of Catholic School Education, attending St. Joseph’s Parochial School in Astoria and St. Francis Preparatory High School in Fresh Meadows. After college, I began working as a 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher at Our Lady Help of Christians School in Brooklyn. After four years in the school, I moved on to Holy Family School/Academy in Fresh Meadows, where I taught for eleven years. Over the course of a fifteen-year career, I have taught students from 4th Grade up to 8th Grade, and four different academic subjects, with the majority of my career on the middle school level.

I hold a BA and MA in History from Queens College and an Advanced Certificate in School Building Leadership from St. John’s University. I am married, and I have two sons, ages six and four. This is my third year as the Assistant Principal of St. Agnes Cathedral School. I have enjoyed my time here at St. Agnes immensely, and I strongly believe that our school is one of the finest educational institutions on Long Island.
