I was born and raised in New York City, and I am the proud product of Catholic School Education, attending St. Joseph’s Parochial School in Astoria and St. Francis Preparatory High School in Fresh Meadows. After college, I began working as a 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts teacher at Our Lady Help of Christians School in Brooklyn. After four years in the school, I moved on to Holy Family School/Academy in Fresh Meadows, where I taught for eleven years. Over the course of a fifteen year career, I have taught students from 4th Grade up to 8th Grade, and four different academic subjects, with the majority of my career on the middle school level.
I hold a BA and MA in History from Queens College, and I am a recent graduate of the School Building Leadership program at St. John’s University. I am married, and I have two sons, ages four and two. I am looking forward to starting my new role as Assistant Principal at St. Agnes Cathedral School, and helping to continue the ideals and traditions that the school was built upon.
