Work Submission:
Everyone will be receiving an email this week with a link to your child's Google Drive folder. All work can be submitted through this folder. You may need to download the app if you do not have a google account. If you are unable to, you can send me an email with your child's work.
All work that was previously sent to me via email willl be moved into your child's Google Drive folder so there is no need to resend it.
Also, as per Mrs. St. John's morning announcement yesterday, new assignments are posted Monday mornings, therefore the previous week's assignments are taken down. It is suggested that you copy, print, or screen shot the weekly assignments in the event that you are unable to complete the assignments within that week.
March 23, 2020
Newest Update on Submitting Work: Unfortunately we will not be able to continue using Dropbox due to Diocese restrictions. Instead, I will be sharing a Google drive folder specific to your child where you can send all work later this week. Again, I apologize for yet another change in procedure, but everyday we are finding out new things that were not previously encountered with online learning.
It was so great seeing so many of you on Zoom today! I look forward to setting up another one later in the week, stay tuned :-)
VIDEO CHAT with me on ZOOM! I would really love to see everyone! We will have a Zoom class meeting on Monday, March 23rd at 11:00am. This is not mandatory. It's just to say hello and to be able to check in and see one another. All you have to do is click on the link below. It will not go live until Monday. You can either download the Zoom app or download and install Zoom when you click or copy and paste the link below. You can use Zoom on a mobile device, iPad, or computer. Missing you all!!

If you have already dropped work off at school, it can remain there. However, if you have not turned in anything yet, please hold onto it until further notice. Please check below under the Classroom News section as I'll continue to add Free resources for some Educational fun as I come across them!

Miss you all. See you soon!
Love and prayers,
Mrs. Lisa Ondra
P.S. My dear students, I hope you keep praying a decade of the Rosary and pray our 3-4 class prayer daily just like we do together in school each morning after the school prayers and the pledge.
My dear fellow parents, please take a moment with your children to watch the link below, maybe sing along with them, breathe for a moment, and remember that we are in this together and that God's in charge.
~God Bless~

I am Mrs. Lisa Ondra and will be your child's 3rd grade teacher this year. I am a proud graduate of Kellenberg Memorial High School and Molloy College, where I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. This is my 21st year teaching here at St. Agnes. I have always been in the 3rd grade. I like to think of St. Agnes as my home away from home. I believe very strongly about Catholic Education and have my own 2 children in catholic school as well. I look forward to a spiritual and successful school year!
Go Math Workbook Update:
You do not have to complete the Go Deeper Questions in the Go Math lessons. The students are just expected to grasp the basic concept and these questions will not be something that they will be assessed on. If you would like to try them as challenge questions, you definitely can.

Virtue of the Month for June: Faithfulness
Monthly Prayer:
Lord, how we thank You for the gift of children. We pray that we may be equipped to bring them up to love and trust the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and to serve Him as they grow into adulthood.
Lord, we know that Your Word tells us to bring up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart form it. Lord, this is our desire for all our home-schooled children and we claim this promise from You. Oh Lord, that all our children may come to know You and to trust You as their Saviour.
Help us to keep Your Word in our hearts and minds and not to be intimidated by those that would seek to remove the Bible and all the wonderful truths its contains from the children of today. Guard and protect the hearts and minds of all our children, and may our homes be a place of security and peace, where the Lord Jesus is kept as the focus.
Lord, we truly want to teach our children in a sound and biblical way. Help us ground all we do on Your Word. May we talk of Your Word when we sit in our houses, and when we walk by the way, when we lie down and when we rise up. And in all things may You be glorified in our homes. In Jesus' name,
Amen.
