7-3 Ms. Emma Farrell

Social Studies/Religion

       Hello, my name is Ms. Emma Farrell and I am so excited to be taking over as the children's Social Studies and Religion teacher. I was a Catholic School student all my life. I graduated from St. William the Abbot elementary school and Our Lady of Mercy Academy. Both of these schools are meaningful places, where I made so many memories that I cherish. I continued my education at St. John's University where I recieved both my Bachelors and Masters in History, with a minor in Art History. I then went back to school and received an Advanced Certificate in 7-12 Social Studies. Outside of school I have taken on roles as both swimming instructor and coach. 
       I was at South Side Middle School since last spring, and am so excited to be given this opportunity. Ms. Pinto and I have been in contact and have worked together in order to make this transition as easy as possible. 
       I am most excited to teach and get to know your children. In my first couple of days here I have felt nothing but warmth and welcoming from everyone. I know that we will have a lot of fun together and learn so much from each other. The next few months will be a great adventure.
