I can't believe this year will be my 26th year of teaching & my 21st year in 2^nd grade here at St. Agnes! Prior to making St. Agnes my "home away from home", I taught 7^th & 8^th grade Science at St. Christopher's in Baldwin, 4^th grade for the NYC DOE, and 1^st & 3^rd grades at St. Francis of Assisi in Astoria. I am a product of Catholic education, having attended St. Frances de Chantal School in Wantagh and Holy Trinity DHS. I earned both my BA & MA degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education with a Specialization in Math, Science & Technology from Hofstra University.
In addition to being a StAg teacher, I'm also a StAg mom. My daughters were members of the Classes of 2020 & 2023. They now attend Long Island University & Holy Trinity HS, & my son is in 4th grade. I'm most happy spending time making memories with my husband & kids, and will share many stories about them with your child. As a family we enjoy going out to eat, building Legos, Rangers hockey & taking trips.
I am looking forward to a fulfilling & faith-filled year with your 2^nd grader!
